I just got a new iPad and I've downloaded the "best of breed" apps for guitar playing but I still need some good apps for violin.  For example, I'd like to be able to display sheet music (easy) but I'd like to be able to annotate it with fingerings and bowings (hard).  In other words, I'd like to be able to dispense, in some cases, with actual printed sheet music.  Also, maybe an app that will allow me to download and catalog sheet music.  It could be the same app, of course.  I already have tuners, metronomes, and Garage Band.

Thanks for any suggestions!thumbs-up

I use forScore. I think it will fulfill your requirements. Give it a try.
