Mele kalikimaka?

Music is in the soul, not the instrument; but the instrument helps a lot.

dancing  I have two, Uke's, a small size like "IZ's" and an "Arthur Godfrey size. I also made a Cigar box uke when I was about 10, from a R.G.Dunn cigar box.

@fiddlestix  Nice!  That was the 2nd song I learned on Ukulele when I got mine.   The first was "Tonight You belong to Me"

Update on the Uke

I had been playing with the Uke earlier today and put it on the table.

Later while I was practicing he violin I heard a 'ping' and looked up to see the the A4 string had just decided to let go.

Do I have a ' jealous' ukulele? dunno

Or just garbage strings rofl

Actually I've thought lately that I might like a ukelele.  But then I doubt since I have my fiddle whether I need one.  @OldCrow, that clip reminded me of this one:

But I do need something for playing chords, maybe a uke or a keyboard or a concertina.

Get a Mandolin! Already tuned in fifths, and roughly the same scale too! Anytime you practice, you are already practicing the other instrument. I have a mandolin and love it.
