I just want to mention that the Fiddle Talk Forum is a great way to make connections, even if miles away. The internet eliminates the miles.

It is great to have a connection with someone else who has an interest in bowed string instruments, whether playing, building instruments, repairing or listening. This Community has helped keep me going. I am a perpetual adult student and would have given up if I had not found this forum.  You get encouragement, help, laughs, and so much more. Everyone is friendly and encouraging, different levels, interested in different genres, etc.

So, if you are just browsing and not joining the forum and posting to share, ask questions, etc, I highly suggest that you join and become an active member of our family. As a perpetual adult student, this has allowed me to learn and not give up. I am having much more fun. Also, even a beginner has a lot to offer, and even those who are experienced may discover something knew from a beginner, and/or get inspired. So, don't just lurk and read posts, watch videos, etc. Become an active member. The more we share, the more we learn. The more we laugh, the more we continue. 

If you have joined and are now lurking in the background, sign in, become an active part of this family. I know it can be daunting to do your first few posts, whether new topics or replies, it took me a long time, but, the rewards are great.
