The other violins are new violins that Cecilio sent me to test for FREE
I can do whatever I want with them. My next idea is to raffle an electric violin. Was thinking that everyone can write why they think they should win and what they plan on doing with the winning instrument. I'll then choose my favorites and let you guys vote in the end

The black fiddle was sent to him on Monday so I imagine he will get it by next Monday. He is very young and maybe very busy as well

What do you mean Oliver? I only pop into this forum while I'm practicing violin and think I'm missing a lot of dialog stuff. Where is the winning of the violin video?
I'm not really sure there is a video of the lottery drawing.
I also wonder if we every heard from Willie again?
I was just horsing around with the "wrench" remark because I wanted to erase a post and someone told me to find a wrench icon which would erase my post?
No wrench.
Sometimes I think posts to this forum expire but I don't really know

Posts never expire from here. They are just hard to find. I may have a different toolbar than you guys since I am the administrator. Does it look anything like this over your posts?
See the wrench on the top left corner, left of the profile and OFFLINE icon?

No way! Yes, I see it, no I don't 
That has to be because you are activated. I believe that what I saw was an erase authorization for INDIVIDUAL members as part of a profile config but did NOT allow such authorized people to erase other posts. I think your fears of a massive assault are unfounded
PS Disappearing posts. I have learned to navigate very much with the SEARCH function and eventually find everything.

I just kept it that way because it is a default setting. I am trying to figure out what works and not. Apparently it is set to allow users to delete their post until the first reply. I really want to make sure that is possible.

Incidentally, (humor me) what is the Cecilio model for the electric violin? Does it include any separate amp/effects?
The erase function issue is not a big deal but I would rather not leave a blank post when I mess up. What happens is that I'm trying to insert/attach a graphic and maybe it does not work but I can't bail out.

You joined only 4 months ago Oliver. Lot's of those 32 people were my friends that joined to help me start the forum and they didn't even post. Not much action back then. You have been very influential and persistent in visiting and keeping the forum interesting. I am very thankful for that. I started the forum in January and now it's growing fast 
I was told by those who know a lot about this kind of thing that it takes a year before people begin to find your forum and that it is almost impossible to get a forum going today.
I have high hopes for this place
