Everybody has  such cool hobbies, thumbs-up

I like to fish, and I have a few pistols I enjoy going to the range.  Dont have much time for either,  but its easy to grab that fiddle when I get home.

Oh, I am building a dining room table, but  dont consider it a hobby its more of a  something to eat off of thing.cheers

Mad, that is crazy wild!  clap

I build buildings but I  have never considerd jumping off a perfectly good one!dunno

Wow, y'all do interesting things.  When I'm not at college I take care of a fair number of animals.  I also enjoy building and painting models.  Here are the ones I put pictures of online.  http://hidden-urchin.deviantart.com/

But I don't have a lot of space right now so I'm giving blogging a go.  I just picked that one up this week.

Thanks for starting this thread. It's great to read what other folks are into.

In addition to my musical interests (I've played the guitar for nearly 40 years and played a few other instruments when I was in school), I'm an avid photographer. I'm fortunate that not only is it a hobby, but my job in public affairs for a government agency provides many opportunities to do outdoor photography, which I particularly enjoy.

The same is true for writing...also part of my job, plus I do some free lance writing on my own time. My other interests include gardening and travel.

Kevin for example has a farm and likes horses - i'd be very happy to see You, Kevin on a horse =)... or a picture of your bunnies =)

I haven't been around much in the last few days but I will post a video of the farm at a later time. On Saturday my father went into the hospital because of a stroke and he died Monday. It's a very bad time for me right now. But I'll  put up a video later.

good grief! my hobbies and pastimes seem dead boring compared to these. Just sailing and martial arts, cycling, eating good tap food and drinking healthy beer, lol

Probably the craziest thing I did was ride my motorcycle through a bit of Africa, without a gun!!

Kevin, I am very sorry to hear about your father. My dad died just over a year ago. It still doesn't seem right to not be able to call him up and let him hear a song or ask for advice. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Here you go:

https://plus.google.com/photos.....v-qX866cOg

These photos are not of my garden, exactly, but taken in the woods around our house. It's a collection of photos of various types of mushrooms. One day last September, I was doing some clean up after Hurricane Irene and noticed a lot of mushrooms of various shapes, colors, textures and even smells. One type -- the orange ones with "tentacles" -- are called Stinky Squid mushrooms that are, in fact, very stinky. Their odor attracts insects that spread the spores. I sent some of these images in to our local paper and they published them in their weekly "Photographer's Portfolio" section. It's way too early in the season for recent photos of my garden.

Also, condolences to Kevin. So sorry for your loss.

OK, Naska Here you go - a picture of our newly dug garden. So far we have only planted peas and corn, and potatoes in the bucket. More veggie goodness after the storms pass through and the ground dries.

Crikey, a garden that big in the UK would be given 'National Park' status. Lol.
Just needs a few sunflowers swaying in a sunny evening.
