Yes, I know that fiddlers have several tuning options but I wonder how they manage to go from one to the other.

Being that the piano player is such a great musician maybe I could ask him to transpose to a key of G !!

NV   I won't know just how bad it will be until I rehearse with the piano which probably will happen in the next few weeks.  I'm sure it will be interesting.

I was at a fiddle festival last year, and a gal tuned her instrument differently between songs. I think it will work. A second violin would make it a bit easier (faster), though.

Have to stay low profile here because my latest violin is only a couple weeks old and the wife is watching for the credit card statement like a hawk.
