To be honest..i like them both, and the music btw.  T

the difference to me is the modern cello is a little more solid in its base tone.

What you think?

Oh man, what threw me - the Baroque 'Violoncello Piccolo' is smaller than the cello!  

Not really a fair comparison.

LOVE that 5 strings was SO POPULAR for a while!
