Hi everyone. I'm a 53 year old male who has never picked up a musical instrument in his life but has decided to learn to play the fiddle. My wife's family is from Cape Breton which has a rich history (and many, many famous fiddlers) with fiddle music and every time we go there I am totally enthralled. So, thought it time to learn a tune or 2!

 

I've just started taking lessons and realize this will be a life long endeavor.

 

This site is great!

He didn't, The drawing was on Saturday and the post office was closed on Sunday and Monday due to Columbus Day. I sent it yesterday and it is scheduled to arrive on Monday. Hopefully it will get there on Saturday but I doubt it. Not that I am thinking negatively. facepalmembarassedb-slaptongue

Well I bet G is excited…He will like.

And Kev, I just picked up the fiddle for the first time at age 47 a few months ago and members here are older and way younger. Fiddlerman, Berry and me are starting a 1963 club here soon ;-) David?? aren't you our age too? Our age doesn't matter cause music lasts forever. jimi-hendrix

 

PS. Love the walleye fishing in Ontario.
