Found some great video sheet music, so while you're sitting out on the back porch this weekend, grab your Fiddle & play along with Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater"!
Written in 1736 - for soprano, alto, strings & organ in F major. Performed here by the Ricercar Consort (olla-vogala).
There are 12 parts - some quite slow, some pretty lively - but the nice thing is the video timeline is segmented so you can easily see where each part begins & ends, if you wish to go back over parts.
Light Operatic style, there is a wonderful description included with the video.
Stabat Mater - Giovanni Battista Pergolesi (Ricercar Consort).
I was pleasantly surprised when I sampled this - very enjoyable!
...think I might have to take a closer look.

Baroque Mania in Japan (Playlists)
- don't know if it's really a 'thing' in Japan, but it's a YouTube Channel that's FULL of Baroque play-along scores for Violin!
ALL appear to be scores for VIOLIN, even if the piece was originally written for another instrument.
HUGE STASH of big name works!
The playlists are grouped by Composer & there's also general Baroque playlists: Christmas (26), Portuguese (1), Bohemian (13), Austrian (3), British (27), French (35), Dutch (15), Italian (76) and German Baroque (50).
Love to hear if anyone has a favorite!
...will share what I like best after I look them over better.
