Found them today. Nice!

Not really "classical" but seems closest place to post.

@ABitRusty -

I really like their music (listened to a few other pieces, too)!

Thanks for sharing this!

Didn't notice their albums right away!

Forgotten Odes (2020) Playlist

Doomsday Album Playlist

Wings of Apocalypse Playlist

I see a trend toward electronic, software-created music with sound sample plugins on YT - so, it's cool to find a live orchestra focused on the Video Game Music Genre

From their site:

Launched by music producer Nitish Raina in 2017 with the mission of bringing the premium sound of huge Hollywood film score to advertising, games, and entertainment marketing, ETERNAL ECLIPSE as quickly distinguished itself as a destination for powerful, high-end, live recorded orchestral music. From inspired, soaring wonder and heightened, neoclassical mystery to percussive dystopian drama and action, one thread connects every album: Eternal Eclipse is truly epic music.

There's a huge fan base for this genre!

Didn't realize how big of a deal, but there's some big associations with yearly conventions.  Great jobs for freelance composers & music supervisors!  CDs, sheet music, live performances.

Universities offer degrees for Game & Film music!

From Wikipedia:

According to the National Association for Music Education, video game music is now being taught at elementary and secondary school levels to aid in the understanding of music composition. Students at Magruder High School in Montgomery County, Maryland have even started a student-run gamer orchestra, and many high school bands perform game music.

There are a ton of awards (besides the Grammy Awards) for extra incentive & to show appreciation for this Genre!

@ABitRusty  There’s a documentary that shows the making of a film score that I saw a couple of years ago.  It’s free if you’ve got Amazon Prime.

Characterize people by their actions and you will never be fooled by their words.
