happened to me Wednesday morning after going to jam Tuesday evening.  Now don't laugh, this was a mini breakthrough for me a strictly from music sheet tune learner!!

I woke up with a tune in my head from the jam session. I was able to play through it, slow and simple notes but YAY!!  I figured it out without music!!   Slow of course but I could hear the tune and play it - Reuben's Train.  Funny thing though I could not think of the title of the song for the longest time.

Now to get it up to speed!

Violinist start date -  May 2013

Fiddler start date - May 2014

FIDDLE- Gift from a dear friend. A 1930-40 german copy, of a french copy of a Stradivarius.  BOW - $50 carbon fiber. Strings - Dominants with E Pirastro Gold string.

Great when that ( or other steps ) suddenly happen !   I'm still trying to get the swung 8ths - followed by a triplet working flawlessly !  Been two days since I last practiced that ( it's at the start of the B part of Harvest Hornpipe ) E-A(swung) A,A,A, then F#-A (swung),A,A,A then G-A etc....    ha ! And today it worked ( I was permanently fighting with bow direction and just getting tied in knots....) !  I mean - it just doesn't LOOK difficult....  but I had a real mental block !seandtrips.JPGImage Enlarger

No one is laughing !  @Schaick - just smiling with happiness for you - we all understand !!!!!!!  Honestly !

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Just like me. Sometimes the names pops up all of a sudden in my head and sometimes not. LOL
