I decided to try a fretless doohickey after being bad on fretted ones ....I miss those frets !!!

You are obviously very talented to pick it up so quickly and by the way you slide your fingers to the right pitch. Next step is to memorize your finger placement to land those fingers closer to begin with.
Since you are just starting out, I feel that you are a natural and will figure out how to produce great music from your doohickey

Thank you very much for all the positive responses and the badge. I am concentrating a bit more on hitting the right note with different fingers
and following the fingering techniques a la correct mode as I have observed in the tutorial vids and other learners examples .......
