Hey guys,

I've been working on 8th notes and working on different speeds and playing accurately. I've been working on buckeye Salute out of the EE 2000 book 1 #73. I am trying to work with a metronome but me and metronomes don't appear to do so well together but once i hear the right way its supposed to be played with a violin I'm usually pretty good with the tempo. anywhoo...a few hiccups with reading my music. lol. oops but let me know what you guys think.  and please critique away! I'll take as much help as i can possibly get!

Good job :-)
You look very relaxed with your hold which is very nice.
I would like for you to try getting your right hand fingers closer together for more flexibility later on.
Always keep intonation in your mind on each and every note. I am saying this because it's obvious that you hear the difference because of your generally good intonation. For example your 3rd finger D in the beginning is pretty good but later on it's too low, then a hair too high at the very end, which is an indication that you maybe stopped listening. :-)
The screechy sound that got you to stop came from playing too close to the bridge which came from crooked bowing. Practice drawing a straight bow in the mirror a bit before each practice session until that gets better.
All in all a great job.
Thanks for the post.
