Hi All,

I have been working on getting my elbow the correct height so my arm is horizontal with my bow. I know I don’t sound  great especially half way through but I’m thinking it looks a bit more level.

Any comments appreciated thanks ( this is take two, my cat got in the way of the first vid- but at least he can stay in the room now when I play ! I thought that was a good sign. The other one goes a runner still)

Katie

I don’t know about the elbow, because I am not that great at form, but I am impressed with the progress on your playing. My comment should also move your post up on the listing of newest posts! LOL

Your arm motion looks good! Your elbow still goes up a bit high in the middle of the video, but it's mostly much improved from before.

Some of the squeaks are the result of fingers not being completely set when you start the bow motion. A bit more attention to coordination between left and right hands will eliminate those.

Thank you for the feedback!

I find it really hard getting my fingers into the right finger patters for example playing an f and then a g! I’m guessing it’s just practicing so it feels natural.
