Hi folks, in this video I try to experiment with some shifting from first to third position and vice versa. I chose this tune because I know it by heart so I figured that shifting would be easier.

please comment. Constructive criticism will be very well received.

Thanks,

JuanFiddler.

Lot's of great things going on here Juan.

My main observation is with the rhythm. It's great that you are playing it freely but there are times that you are not rhythmic enough. Try it a few times while counting 1, 2, 3 in your head. Maybe even practice with a metronome. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect you to play it too rhythmically but just more than you do. It feels at times like you are in a hurry to move on.

Work on the second finger B natural on the G string. It could be quite a bit higher.

You have progressed a lot since the last post of Ashokan Farewell.

Good job, keep it up!

Thanks a lot Pierre, Im doing my best here. Is my bow straight enough? Cause that has been my main concern lately. Yes intonation needs some make up work. I get you when it comes to rhythm will try to fix that :) In the future when I learn to do vibrato, Im sure it will sound even more expressive.
