I recorded this little set on my new viola. An old accordion tune titled "Reine de Musette", paired with "Happy Time Waltz".

Any comments are welcome!

Thank you.

@Worldfiddler -

Those were BEAUTIFUL!

Where did you find these pieces?

How long have you had your viola (I've only had mine a couple days)?

Have you seen our "Party Room"

The 'Christmas' Party is the only one closed -

the rest are open and will hopefully inspire you to join us.

@Worldfiddler -

I just saw what you have shared on YouTube!

LOVE IT ALL!

AND... you played a 5 string for Ragtime Annie!!!

I have waited a LONG time, well since I started playing the violin, to find someone else that plays a 5-string & YOU are FABULOUS! 🤗

Sorry, I didn't realize you've been playing VERY WELL for quite some time!

Thank you, for taking time to post here - you are truly an inspiration to me! 😊

Woah! It looks so effortless when you're playing.

Glad you shared this with us, it's inspiring. Proof that you can do just as much with a viola than a violin (… and that I still have quite some way to go until I get anywhere near this ! ;--) )

@Worldfiddler Great playing! These tunes go well together.

@ELCBK - I've had the viola a few months now.
The tunes are "Reine de Musette", an old accordion tune by Will Starr, and the 2nd tune is "Happy Time Waltz", made popular by fiddler Kenny Baker.
