@anonkid 's playing is too advanced for me to critique. The bowing is especially impressive. And it's not easy to get an even tone on those long, slow notes. Really good. Love the metronome.

This doesn't need critique, it needs thanks. Now the rest of us have some idea of how it's supposed to sound. :)

@anonkid : Both of these are terrific! I really like your tone on the longer notes especially.  You have got me passionate about that project again.  It is good we have had extra time, now I can get practising. FYI I have a click track on at about 55 BPM when I practice without the backup music.  I am not sure what yours was, just wondered.

@intrepidgirl than you also..... Metronome speed 100

you posted a backing track........I hope you don't mind but my kid used it for violin 1 and violin 2 part to see how well it works ......it would be better if it did not begin so soon though hopefully she can use it until @Fiddlerman post his click  track  the videos are with your backing track

@Fiddlerman Katie said thank you for the tips and will sort it out and she is also happy that she can do them and help a bit as we were so busy with her 2 new schools as she is no longer home on Saturday's school is out now lol

Great job Katie!
So happy you are participating in this project. You might be the one to get it going again. LOL
Thanks for correcting issues from your first take. :)
To make this even better, try to play faster 16th notes for more even and less dragged triplets. Concentrate on intonation on every single note. Analyze your recordings. Your intonation is good but it can be better. :) As is the case with everyone by the way. :)

I used one of those "tap to set the beat" apps, and I got 170 to 180 bpm. (Treating each eighth note as 1.  I don't know time signature notation well enough to turn that into a BPM rate for something like 4/4.

@Fiddlerman, is that what you meant by treating it as triplets? (4/4 time, and each set of triplets is the length of a quarter note?)  My education in musical notation is 45+ years old, and I never was all that clear about the time signatures, anyway.

Sounds like you are suggestion a tempo of 56 - 60BPM
Dotted quarter = 60 bpm

More suggestions so that I can choose a tempo for the playback file.
