It would be helpful to "see" you playing this tune instead of just listening to the soundtrack but for what it's worth, here's my take on what I heard.

1- Awesome ability to keep in time and follow along.

2- Sounded like you could use a little more pressure on the bow as well as...

3- Longer-faster bowing strokes (which help the string to vibrate properly)

4- The intonation was off slightly but you knew that already, and if you can work on #2 & #3 above more, then I think some of that pitch error will disappear on its' own.

All in all, for the amount of time you've been playing... I'm impressed! I can hardly wait to hear your 6 month and 12 month practice tune vids.

Great job Hexdragon,

In regards to the intonation, you are consistently high. My guess is that you did not tune your instrument to the track that you played along with.
It would have sounded more in tune if we had heard it without the backing-track.
Would be cool to hear it again with your violin tuned a bit lower such as on the recording you are playing with.

Very pretty song ... I can see why you want to play it.   Are you playing by ear?    I enjoyed it... Keep up the good work... This sounds like something you are going to make so perfect!

Great tips from FM and CdennyB.

edit: oh I see you used a piano score from which you played.
