Hello! In my childhood I wished to play violin very much. Now I am making the dream real. I`ve started it just 10 days ago. There is an example of my playing. I need your comments to improve the technic and sound! Thanks.
You will probably find a problem with my pinky. I tried to solve but. But I feel the bow balanced enough only in this kind of holding. The second problem, I suggest, is that the movement of the right hand comes from a whole arm but from an elbow. Do I identify the mistakes right?
P. S. Thanks for this website. It is very helpful

@Hurton Incase i missed your introduction i just wanted to say welcome to fiddlerman. I'm a relative noobie myself so i can't comment on alot of things but several things i noticed are :
Don't try to do vibrato yet (the warbly sound of rocking your finger) its definally a more advanced stage and you don't want to set bad habbits now that will be painful to fix later. instead focus on hitting all the notes at the right intonation and correct bowing. when finding the right notes becomes easy, then start thinking about vibrato.
Second, Slow down the piece. don't worry about getting it done in the right temp just yet. slow each note down, and make sure your intonation is correct. work on the piece until your comfortable with it before you move on. theres no reason to rush anything
your bow hold looks fine to me, but more experienced members will probably find some other stuff for ya
overall Good job for only being ten days in! keep up the good work. I'd say look at the fiddlerman videos on exercises for the bow as well as just some of the beginning scales. once you can nail the scales everything becomes so much easier in the long run. you are doing great! keep up the awesome work. I look forward to seeing more from you

Nicely done.
One thing that i'm annoyingly telling to everybody (myself included, LOL!): more bow!
Practice using full length of bow - from the tip to the frog and in couple of days You'll make your sound more confident. It really helps quickly if You pay attention =)
Good luck and keep up that good work!
