People that record their progress usually don't post their mistakes. They usually delete them. I decided to post one. I sure that 'you' have been there
I was playing last night and all was going really well so I decided to take some video.
I started my video cam, sat down, and started playing. I was thinking as I played, "not as good as earlier, but I may get a good one out of this."
Alas, it was not to be. I got up to the last six notes without sounding 'too' bad, when suddenly I grew a sixth finger on my left hand and totally screwed up.
So I had my little tantrum. The end of the tantrum on the video had to be cut short due to extreme profanity. Had I left it in the post FM would have deleted it.
BTW... I've been playing for about 13 months now and the tune is the Skye Boat Song.
So, enjoy.... Or not
Seen it all. Done it all. Can't remember most of ..... What was I saying????

That's pretty much how all of my practice sessions end. Especially when I'm trying to sight read a piece. My bowing goes right down the drain and what I wind up playing sounds freakishly close to your last set of notes. I only wish it sounded as well as yours does up to that point
Thanks for sharing Ferret, I enjoyed it.

Very nice tune, but..... do I have to learn your very last part, right before you cut it off?
You did well. Bravo.
@ratvn Yes, Its mandatory. Ya gotta do it just like I did it. Actually the guy that originally wrote the tune played it just like that. He couldn't play the fiddle to save his life either.

OH YEAH >> That is me every night when the window opens for me to play. > An other member said >>" Always end your practice session with a good spot" > I couldn't agree more. But most of mine end with what just happened on your vid. > NOt a bad thing > just time to take a break from it. .> and then start again next day.
I really like this angle you got on your vid . Really SWEET!! > can see what is going on really well.
