Bahy- sing each song like you would normally do but listen how you do it. Then play the songs while singing them and see if you can match your bowing to your singing style. you are still really choppy and you can smooth it out really easily by singing along with your playing. Great job and I think your Twinkle is most improved of them all! Keep it up man!

You might have an easier time with a smaller instrument. Did your teacher mention this or measure you for the right size?

You are tuned more than one semitone flat on the A string and close to two semitones flat on the E string.

You should be tuning every time before you play.

Playing without tuning is like trying to build a castle on top of sand.

All I did was detect when he was playing the open strings, then sing into the tuner the same pitches he played, then read from the tuner.

Hello there.. I am not one to bring up mistakes.  I do think you are doing well.  Rob is a good helper!!

I think you are on the road to being a good player... I like your finger work and I feel you are going to do well.

:)

The breaks (choppiness) between notes will go away as you get longer bows with faster speed.  But I love Rob's advice on playing part of the bow.  I listened to a video today where another teacher (The Hot Violinist) was talking about the same thing.

Cheers..congrats.. hooray and all that good stuff..
