I'd be interested to know if this variation/arrangement of the tune works. It is sounding good to me -- though my technique still needs a lot of work as I'm very much a novice on the instrument.

Hard for me to say. Seems an instrument like that may be challenging to play at speed. Maybe an addition of an endpin or stand might help your form a bit if one isn't already on.

Interesting tone. Not displeasing when you hit the notes well.

I've always wondered how a fiddle built on a small banjo head would sound.
