It's been 3 months now, since I first got a violin (and about 1 month since I got another). Obviously, it's rough, but it's better than month one and better than month two, so at least I'm moving in the right direction. Somebody mentioned Ashokan Farewell, so I thought I'd give it a go.

A new one to me Uzi - a nice tune, nicely played ! Well done.

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)

WOW, 3 months-well played. A lovely tune also.

Fantastic. I really look forward to hearing your progress Uzi. Imagine how quickly you have come along. And the fiddle sounds great. :-)

Thanks for being so kind everyone. I can actually play the song much better (or at least it seems like I can), but I know that as soon as I press the record button, I'm going to spaz out at some point, which of course, makes me spaz out at some point. You can clearly hear that the bow is tense rather than flowing smoothly. One thing I've learned is that tension and the violin do not work well together. If I can train myself to ignore the fact that I'm recording, I'll be much better off and probably the best way to do that is record more.
