I liked that @Grofica Yayyyyy ! Especially linking the violin to the voice line.
I find "play-along" or "accompaniment" a really helpful method to develop general musical skills... you can find/experiment with harmonies etc...
I'm messing with playing along to the 90 or so second intro to Heavy Horses (Jethro Tull - for those of us too young to remember the 70's) - I've just GOT to find something better to do with the EV than Scottish traditional !
Well done !
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -

Really nice song choice. Mostly good intonation. As far as criticism: (I'm a beginner, so take it for what it's worth):
Most every issue I see is due to tension. It happens to me the moment I press a record button -- don't know about you.
1. You have already seen that you're using too much shoulder (as many of us tend to do) which is very tiring and keeps the bow from moving smoothly and straight.
2. Your bowing fingers are not very flexible. Watch some videos on Colle. I found these exercises to be helpful (even though I still don't do it right.)
3. Generally, the main thing that's standing between you (and the most of the rest of us) and excellent tone is tension.
You sounded very nice though and I really liked the song.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. ~Herm Albright

Good job. I haven't attempted any follow along songs yet.
Opportunity is often missed because it wears suspenders and looks like hard work.

Ohhh sure, let's do it.

Where do you get the music from?

WOW, Great improvement since last time I heard you.
I love the way you simply chose the stuff you like and play along with it rather than what everyone else is doing. I would prefer to hear you play off a karaoke version some time.As far as the finger flexibility is concerned I have this one video for practice without actually playing the instrument which will show you how I hold the bow. Above all, use your right elbow when bowing. You already noticed it on your own which means that recording yourself and watching it is teaching you what you need to work on.
Thanks i actually have the grip thing i bought it a while ago.... I love that thing.... i have been trying to do the bow exersize but dang my little hand gets tired fast ROFL im tryingggggggggg
Thank you though. My friend should be bringing over the camcorder tomorrow so i will get to record it was hard to do with my computer cam.... so i will be posting more soon and i will try with the karoke version
and i will try not to royally screw it up this time ROFL
