madbill I had to google the Scottish Midge, it's like a mean little blood sucking fly, right? Not unlike our evil mosquitos. We have biting flies, too, which always hurt me more than the mosquitos do. I usually don't notice that a mosquito was feasting on me until I have big itching bumps left over from their snack, lol.
This thread makes me scared to ever try cleaning my bows, lol.

Ahaaaa Mandy @damfino - yup - you nailed the little blighters - it is probably a "terminology difference" - on real bad days - warm, windless and humid - they are like a black swarm of evil-blood-sucking monsters coming at you... LOL ..... I believe my Alaskan friends - Geroganne - @Georganne (let me know) suffer from much the same little pest... ( and many MUCH larger ones we don't have here ! - talking about bears - thankfully absent in our land... LOL )
Ha - who ever said making music was easy !!!!
I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh -

madbill Yeah, we only have small bears here, the black bears, but you don't see them often. I've only ever seen their footprints on a hike after it apparently heard me coming and took off. I kept thinking "gee, these are awfully big animal prints" lol. Took a few pictures so I could do a google search later to confirm my findings, lol.
We have more coyote than anything.
