the top is really thin and need a few cracks repaired

Very cool. Our luthiers make the patches a bit thinner and after gluing them in place they chisel them. I'll try to remember to take some pictures for you. You seem to be a natural at this stuff. :)

Yes we did make our own clamps

we’re learning together, I feel it is especially good for Mackenzie because she gets to see the cause and effect of what we do... ie... moving the post or bridge, using different strings and bows etc.

at school she helps the other kids with their violins.

she has one big problem...

She wants to keep every violin...
