well i did find out that A=432 isnt what makes the banjo sound pre-war, i think that has to do more with how they were made or probably more so how they sound using the recording devices at that time.very few of us were around at that time to know how they sounded when first built. how the pre-wars sound now has alot to do with the current age of the wood.
