Nice video.  The sound post setter has a guide to help determine sound post position.  It is a wire projection covered in black plastic.

@gordon stumway and others.  He likely opened the back of a vso with a band saw.  After that procedure, just about any video equipment would be adequate.

Good guess Irv.

Actually I did it in separate takes. We found a very skinny usb camera from a Chinese source about 5 years ago. It has a light on the end and is about 3/16 inches wide. I drilled a hole in an endpin and stuck the camera in the endpin hole. Also put a cellphone on top of the f-hole for additional light.
