Well I just got my electric violin, but all i have is a bass amp. The violin sounds good with a bass amp.. But is it ruining the amp or violin? If so, what are some amps that would work fine for a decent price?

Hi Jerusha,

You can't hurt either the amp or the fiddle by using a bass amp with the fiddle. And if you can tweak the amp controls so it sounds like a violin, as you said it does, then you don't need anything else--you're good to go! Have fun with your new toy! Maybe give us a video of you playing it?
