Is there much difference between the Suzuki Method and the AMEB Method? I've only ever heard of the Suzuki Method.
Suzuki is more like memorising pieces and playing the song by using your ears. AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) has a lot more theory and techniques involved. Comparing Suzuki grades to AMEB grades I think Suzuki is easier possibly because of their song choices.

Great interview Candice, glad you stuck with the fiddle
HAHA yes you've seen my Skype midnight snacking sessions on Facebook.

Midnight snacks are always great, playing the violin is much better whe you do it for fun.
Yes it sure takes the pressure off and I don't force myself to practise so I enjoy it a lot more now

Great interview you are funny Chinny. Oh and those midnight snacks. My wife bought a lot of candy for Halloween but I was called to do a last minute gig so we were not home to hand out the candy to the kids. I found the bag last night and ate about 25 little bags of M&Ms. I'm still full.
Your a ninja, a bloody bloody ninja

OMG sif eat so many lollies. You're making me jealous. I wanted to go trick or treating this year but 1) I'm getting too old 2) No one wanted to trick or treat with me 3) Too many exams tests and assignments 4) Didn't have a costume 5) People don't really celebrate it here. Actually I have a question regarding Halloween. In America, do kids actually play pranks if people don't give them lollies?

I just wonder, why you don't want to do this anymore)))) ….
Keep fiddling !! I think you won't quit anymore! )) but if you dare – it will RETURN.. again....

HAHAHA I think there are other places in the house that might be more comfortable than in the bathroom. Also, the acoustics of the bathroom seems to amplify the sound because it's easier to throw sound around the room. When your skills aren't that good, you dont want the sound to be amplified. And yes I'm sure that even if I did quit, violin would come back to haunt me. But I'm fairly certain I'll stick with it this time round since I'm playing for enjoyment now.

Your siblings were the reason you quit twice? I'm sure it wasn't easy to get back on track but its good to have you back.
good luck in learning the ukulele~
Yea apparently i'm getting more musical - less screechy, they don't complain as much anymore. I also practise on my electric silent violin so that its harder for them to hear. Cheers buddy!
