how to quote usernames with spaces on mobile device

@mouse and others...if i want to insert a users username in a topic post...how do i type out one that has a space?   cant seem to figure it out...this is on a mobile device and rarely use computer for forum.

@ABitRusty 

I just type the ampersand, the username with the space, and select from the drop down like all the other usernames. Use the space just as it appears in the username. 

Before you hit to submit. a hypen will show up where the space is, but when the post shows up, the hyphen will not be there, it will be a space.

@mouse  yeah ive seen that ability on computer..but that drop down doesnt appear on my mobile.

are you doing landscape or portrait? I am going to try it again.

I am using an iPhone 11, up-to-date iOS. I get the drop down. If I have used my fingers to zoom, I have a issue and have to make it small again. 

I have an iPhone 6 plus in my craft room I use for photos, I will see how it goes with that one tomorrow.
