@Katie L  Sounding good!  You’ve got the shifts both up and down. 

It takes a little time for your brain to learn that “A” is not only 3^rd finger on E string (in 1^st position), but is also 1^st finger (in 3^rd position); likewise with  D (on A string). 

And your brain is not just learning the positions on the fingerboard—you’re also learning to associate them when looking at the written note on the page. 

And, of course, when you’re focusing on all of that (like that's not enough), your right hand is trying to do string crossings! 

I think you’ve learned to focus well, so this may already be intuitive for you, but it’s ok to focus on one thing at a time.  Like, “Ok, I’m going to play this part & focus on the shifts” and not worry so much about the bow.  Then later say, “Ok, now I’m going to focus my playing on the bow at those string crossings”.
