Ahh thank you Sharon ! I came across it and thought I know that one .. hear it all the time on the radio.
I’ve come away , I remembered my violin but didn’t remember any music so it’s scales and very patchy melodies . It mush be awful for anyone who can hear me ! Made me realise how bad I am as I can’t even remember bits of pieces I’ve been playing for days.
Really nice playing Katie, never thought of doing this one, good one for vibrato practice. Intonation is really coming on. My cherie amor, never heard it for a long, long time.
Yay !!! Thanks for watching and the feedback !! So happy you liked it ! I have 3 books of violin pieces in first positing just like this one so I’m starting go to play all these different random pieces !! Stuff like Billy Jean.. it’s amazing because sometimes when I start playing I recognise the song straight away. Sometimes I don’t ha ha. Anyway I like my Cheri Amour so I’m going to carry on. I think I recorded Nights in White Satin .. I’ll find it and add !! Thanks all 😁
Sounding great to me, your intonation is getting really good, which I have said before.
You should be working on vibrato a lot, in my opinion.

Thanks Emily and Stringy ! I think I got a bit out of routine when I didn’t practice much on holiday and I think I’m all over the place with the pieces I’m learning. I need to focus again . I wish I could get better at vibrato stringy it seems to be taking ages to speed it up. I need something to click !! For me into getting the tremor and spending it up. I do practice on and off but if I can improve that I think I’ll probably feel like I’m making progress..
I’ve done two practice sessions today and finally understanding time signatures !! Can’t get much slower progress than that ! Also looking at my music (Song from a Secret Garden for stringy’s party) and can see where I’m not really putting in the quavers .. playing crotchets instead . So I’m thinking a can use my metronome to practice.
