I saw the videos of the other projects and it’s really great what you all are doing! I’m looking forward to see the result of this project. I would like to enjoy such a project in the future but first I have to learn a lot more 😃

I'm in... albeit with violin # 6 (sans vibrato 🙂

Thanks, Pierre, for adapting this so even us newbies can join in the fun!

I've decided to do one more violin part before moving over to the viola, or maybe two since I still have the Fiddlerman Traveling Violin and it actually makes me sound like I know how to play. Having a bit of difficulty with the timing

@Fiddlerman, As usual, I am struggling with my timing. I'm always finishing before or after the click track. Do you recall the BPM you set it at. I thought if I could practice with a metronome a bit I could get those more intricate parts done. Thanks

Hmmm... @Ripton - ahhh - just checked back - I *WAS* going to say that I thought I had posted individual play-along tracks for every single scored-instrument (which I did in MuseScore, to meet Pierre's overall timing - as I have done for a couple of other projects) - but - I can't find them here on the thread - now that's strange because I well recall scoring the parts up in MuseScore and checking the timing against Pierre's published click-track

No promises Steve....  I *KNOW* I started out on this, then life took a bad-turn - so maybes I never posted here - but they could be on an archive here at home if we're lucky - I'll check later tonight - no guarantees - some things simply never make it to my cloud archive, and this machine has been "rebuilt" software-wise since then...   I'll let you know - if I have them, they'll help...

I know I put a last minute not great submission in and and I shudder to recall what I looked like. LOL...

Any quick facts and updates and deadlines for me to know about... pretty please??  😉

 thanks.

Toni.   I did read the thread again....

Not working on it at the moment. I asked Manuel, one of our luthiers who happens to be a composer as well, to re-write it with easier parts.
Will revisit this in the near future. 🙂

I see this is still on for which I am glad!  A most awesome project!

I once had a goal of participating if I could only learn the key (was going to get an inexpensive keyboard as a tool as I took a few piano lessons as a child) and a part or two, then figure out the technical aspects of submission etc.  Probably need a friend to help me on that anyway.

I haven't been on here for quite awhile,  as I have been stretched to the max with life, and now I have an arm problem from a simple blood draw!  But hopefully that will heal and get on with things!

Ok, I'm about ready to go ahead with a few more vln parts and the viola parts should I wait?  What about parts already submitted? Thanks

Sorry, everyone. If you have submitted parts, they won't match the new sheet. I'll see what I can do about that. Nothing is written in stone yet. 🙂

We'll now be playing this version and I'll be uploading sheet music soon. If you uploaded a video earlier, I'm extremely sorry but you'll have to re-record after I make the playback file. Apologies to everyone.

No worries, Pierre! I was planning on re-recording the parts I submitted anyway. Maybe this time I'll be able to submit a video for all the parts crossedfingersCan't wait to restart this!

I will probably have to dial down on the costume a bit, I could barely see with the "blind Arya" contacts I wore the last time LOL.

Also, everyone, is it just me, or is this version more badass?!

My neighbors probably want to strangle me for all the noise I've been making.  But hey, "no pain, no gain" right? Except, they feel the pain and I get the gain (I'm really sorry, neighbors :-S)

Good sound you have going there!

I'll be on board when the sheet music and playback file are ready.

Yes, more badass 🙂
I like that.
Hope you still do the costume. That is part of the fun Jols. 🙂

Great sound, indivigual parts sound good, the sum of the whole score sounds good. Should be a good group project.

I'll be posting the project soon. (I hope)
In the meanwhile, I'll also post the Christmas project. Would like to be ahead of the game for once.

There won't be a deadline for the GOT project. When I feel that we have enough submissions I'll give everyone a chance to finish their submissions and start mixing. However, on the Christmas project, there will be a deadline of probably 2 weeks before Christmas. Need to give you guys time to post it on your social media. 🙂
