I found this video in a group of performance videos found from a menu bar option. It is Fiddlerman, and three other people. I really like this. It sounds like more than 4 people playing.

@Fiddlerman Can you give us a little background on this? It is labeled "Puccinni-Crisantemi-String Quartet-1890" in your video.

A Younger Fiddlerman (Pierre) Performing in a Quartet

Thanks.

I like the Pink Panther video - looks like both videos on Swedish Television are from the 90's!

LOVE this orchestra rehearsal video, Fiddlerman!

The bow hair might be a trick of the light. I'm more interested in the chin rest. I don't recognise the pattern. Is it a Strobel?

Puccini Chrysanthemums - the staple of many a string orchestra, including mine.

I recall it's in C#minor, and our conductor wasn't happy with the quality of our C#s (the ones on the G string) at the time (maybe 5 years ago. Mine have improved in the meantime), lol.

@Gordon Shumway I think he had that chin rest made for him, if I remember correctly from when I asked him about it a few years ago.
