I don't believe I've seen the saw played since the days of the Ed Sullivan show in the 1950's. It produces an interesting sound which apparently fell out of fashion when the the Moog was invented.

my theory; product of too much time in the outback... but all have different tastes, eh? (though with some strange fascination i did listen to the musical parts of 5 more of their videos... it is somehow oddly addictive)
