Calling all musicians under 17! This International Violin Competition is a fantastic opportunity for violin players 17 and under as of the 24 November 2013. It will be held over the 22-24 November weekend in the historic Old Musem Building, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. First prize is a $20000 Guarneri replica violin hand crafted by German luthier Konrad Kohlert, with some great second and third place prizes. And all competitors get to perform in the finale concert as part of the orchestra, under the baton of esteemed conductor John Curro.
