Notice the incorrect left hand bent wrist, the sideways fingering, the non tip of the finger fingering, the right hand stiff wrist and wandering bow tip. And yet, he is on tv and I am not. ha ha!jimi-hendrix I also was surprised at how much practicing he said he had to do in the beginning.

Gary Sizemore has a nice channel on Youtube and has posted a broad selection old-timey versions of Appalachian tunes and Appalachian jam standards. I chose this to this post as its the kinda stuff I hear growing up in NC and VA.

I really like his sound - and he is super nice - if you email him questions on his channel, he will email you back. Really super nice guy.

Just for the classical folks... he has an old timey hold on the neck, bow and angle etc. It will upset you.

Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to art. Charlie Parker
