This posting is my public way of thanking

Pierre Holstein aka Fiddlerman, proprietor of FiddlerShop.com

for his exceptional service representing my interests to Cecilio toward the replacement of a faulty CVA-500 14” Viola.

The original instrument in question developed an opening in the join of the two halves of the back. The opening was about 4 inches long and wide enough that I could slide a business card sized piece of printer paper into the opening. I had owned the instrument for about three weeks and was dismayed that this had occurred.

I contacted Pierre by E-mail on Presidents Day and when I noticed he was online in the Fiddlerman Chat window I let him know I had sent the email. Within a few hours he had contacted Cecilio and arranged for a replacement viola to be shipped and emailed me that the matter had been arranged.

The replacement arrived this morning the 1st of March and I am very happy. I had paid extra to have the original order shipped to Canada but the replacement was shipped by Cecilio at no cost to me and for this instrument I did not have to pay any customs duty. They replaced everything, case, bow, extra strings and the viola and in my opinion the royal purple lining of this case is very magnificent.

So again thank you Pierre for your excellent customer care.

I concur!!! Pierre and Mike have gone out of their way to provide great customer service to me, too, on several occasions.

Honestly people, with what you have come to know of Pierre, would you expect anything less? His generosity with all his work here, the time he gives people who ask, his reviews, honesty and friendship. Other then the fact that he keeps "Honey" waiting while he makes videos, there is no trash talk to be said. wink

The thing is Pierre does business the old way. Customer service is the way to create a great business. We have learned to get good customer service is near impossible but not with Fiddlershop. I commend you Pierre in all you do.

Thanks everyone. We feel that it is natural and normal to treat our customers this way. That is just the way we would have been expected to be treated. I don't think we need be thanked for that.

I thank you all for your business.
