I slowed it down to .25 - his finger is pretty straight, but the middle joint is never collapsed or locked. 

Guess I've seen too many great fiddlers play amazingly fast to be impressed by speed anymore - some use their little finger in that fashion, but will discuss in the Fourth Finger Thread.
