Only have a minute - I'm in the middle of workshops at the Online Fiddle Hell Festival.
Kateryna's playing is a whole other world of wonderful!
Can you tell me the name of the piece she is playing?

I liked that fingerboard myself as a matter of fact that is what led me to purchase that fiddle about 6 yrs ago. It has a fake Italian label inside. It’s definitely not Italian. I think it is Nippon maybe 1920s . The fingerboard was probably added much later. It does play very good with a mellow voice!
Rev Robert Jones…I had it on my agenda to watch that but I missed it! Hopefully I can get it in the replays.

I searched the internet and came up empty. I then searched her name with Facebook in the search. Many by that name, I don't do Facebook, so not able to look. The only video seems to be the one in this thread. Looks like a new Soloist violin.Sounds wonderful.

Fiddlerman, this video was posted by Kateryna on her Facebook page. I copied and shared it. This is the wonderful violin you donated! She was playing for refugees in a church the week after she received it. I sent her a PM to let her know that you haven’t heard from her. I hope that she will update you here soon.

We did get an update from her. I just wasn't up to date. We're so happy that we were able to help her out.
