I consider a performance great if it makes me pick up the violin and try at least a piece of what I just heard.  This did that for me.

I saw this earlier, I think it's fantastic. :D It's also amazing just how different she looks with that wig and badly toned bronzer.

This is a beautiful version of this song. I'd love to learn to play it, as well. Maybe someday!

I love that song so much.

Daniel.. I feel the same way.. you know something inspires you when you run over to play bits on the violin.   :)

Great song....  ever since I heard Jeff Buckley's version I've "kind of played it on guitar".....   but Lindsey's violin cover is beyond inspirational - I know exactly what you mean Daniel -

I consider a performance great if it makes me pick up the violin and try at least a piece of what I just heard.  This did that for me.

Yup....   picks up viola in fact, and "plays" a bit of it on the low C and G strings - nice double-stop / drone opportunities with rich sounds and long decay....  very nice ( well, let's say it has some potential to my ears... LOL - I'll just keep practicing !!!! )

I seriously recommend not copying my mistakes. D'oh - guntohead.JPG

Please make your own, different mistakes, and help us all learn :-)
