I just got back from seeing the Lonely Heartstring Band play at The Coffee Gallery out here in Alta Dena, CA. What a great bluegrass ensemble! All the players have such supple technique, and the voices harmonize wonderfully.
This is a video of the group from a few years back, and with a dofferent bassist. Bluegrass fans, I think you would really enjoy this band. They successfully funded a kickstarter for a full length album which is available now, but they have wonderul presence as live performers.
Did they let camera's in when you went to see them
Back in 1991 my son and I went to a bar in Algonac, Mi., to see, "Dr Hook and the Medicine Show" and camera's were not allowed in. Worst show I ever attended.
They were an hour late, even though their bus was parked outside. When Dr. Hook stepped off the bus he had to be assisted, he was "stoned"
I like the video, good tune.
