I put this up on jazz/blues, so I'm double posting. hope fiddlerman doesn't mind. this is the best jazziest jazz violin solo I've ever heard.
she doesn't really get going until her solo at 4:53 to 5:10

I don't mind.
The best way to learn is to listen to as many different jazz players as possible. Not only violin obviously but all instruments. Then the music comes from the blood!!!! <---- Got that from "Rodrigo De Souza" conductor in, "Mozart in the Jungle".
By the way, a very interesting series. Realistic in many and most ways except that the musicians are obviously not musicians and can't fake conducting or playing IMAO!!!
