My Sunday newspaper reports that Yo Yo Ma is taking up a second instrument It is ( are you ready? ) ........... an accordion which was a welcome present from his wife. And he will be taking lessons 
His official web site does not report this new undertaking BUT, the site also mentions an accordionist named Victor Prieto.
Maybe the original report is not accurate ????

Yes, the accordion or bandonion if I spelled that right. Is a beautiful instrument. I like the way its used in tangos . and I bet YoYo will do some amazing things with it. Check out Astor Piazzolla.

Interesting but I would like to hear something in a more familiar genre.
I can't even imagine what Yo Yo might do with an accordion !
