It looks like the entire first two minutes are played on the G string.  Does it get any crazier than this?  Please share.  I'll bet there are some other "modern" compositions that go beyond this.

How about Vengerov?  His disclosure in expression adds intimacy to his performance.  You really feel like he is sharing something with his audience.  

I like to practice in front of a mirror and when I am sweating over some difficult exercise, I catch myself with the occasional odd expression.  It is not an idle display.
