I'm a big Katy Adelson fan. (https://www.katyadelson.com/). I bought her Tune Collections this past weekend, and I haven't stopped listening. (Amazon - $11.49 - 33 songs) I really like her style and sound (and those crazy expressions she makes while playing!). If you haven't heard her playing of Sponge, here it is.
Sponge is a Louisiana Ragtime tune composed by Walter C. Simon in 1911, in New Orleans. Katy's mom used to play this song a lot on the piano when she was a kid, and she really wanted to play it on the violin. Most folks who play this song play it so slowly it sounds like a funeral dirge. In he version, Katy plays it at 110 bpm, which makes it more fun and cheerful.
Just to juxtapose, here it is played slowly. Can't you just picture an old-time New Orleans funeral procession through the streets in this version?
