The weather was perfect. We were outdoors and besides the strong sun shining on our instruments, everything was perfect. As usual we were reading string quartet music at a wedding today. Usually we play the same stuff over and over from wedding to wedding but today there was a bunch of quartets that we had never seen before. Even though I recognize a lot of it, it was so much fun to play new stuff and concentrate on reading as close top perfect as possible. I love chamber music. Tell us about your great performances.

I am always impressed by how nice some of the performing arts centers are here in Florida. Once again I played at the Amaturo Theater at the Fort Lauderdale Performing Arts Center and couldn't help admiring the hall. It's not the biggest theater there but very quaint. Unfortunately not many visitors. I can only guess that not filling the place makes it very hard for the orchestra to make ends meet.
The Dreyfoos Hall at the Kravis center is also a very nice hall to play in.
