WOW!!!  Awesome result, thanks Pierre, you're a genius.

Of course, it took me a while to get back here to thank you, I was too busy sharing the link with everyone I know!

Sadly, I only recognised one face ... I need to make more time to visit and meet people.

Thank you to all who participated, great job!

If you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

You're welcome. It's hard even for me to know peoples faces. They don't always reveal them here. :)

What can I say that hasn't been said already? one word is all that comes to mind...

WOW!

That was beyond incredible... Have you considered selling DVD's or CD's of that? You should offer them on the site...

I'd pay $10 ea or so for a DVD with all the projects on it.

Just a thought... I know, more stuff for you to do... like you don't have anything else to do, right.

cheers

Thanks guys. It would be a piece of cake to put the videos on a DVD but I suppose I'd have to remix with a higher sample rate for a better quality. Some of the videos that I receive from users are extremely low as well. When you increase the resolution you get a pixely result, especially when viewed on a big screen. I have a minimum resolution requirement but perhaps I should raise that. :)

Sorry, I'm remiss in extending kudos to everyone who participated in this project. It sounds great!

I'm also sorry that I didn't get in on this one but there were a variety of reasons why I couldn't get it done.

Great job to all the players and to Pierre on the editing!

thumbs-up

Hi Diane.. thanks.. (I can't imagine the editing)..MINE alone was probably the heartache... At the time I did my best.  I am actually still playing this tune as my practice.. i play and play it every day.  I am thankful for this project a I am always wanting to play Classical music and without Pierre making a project and arrangement, this would have been out of my reach.

I missed seeing your playing in the video Diane, but understand that we just can 't always do them all. :)

I smile every time I see this video.

You are not alone !   LOL !    And, I agree with you on the arrangement by @Fiddlerman - a simple thing for Pierre of course - but of great value to me - although as "simple" as it was - it sure taught me a lot about "composition and structure" by playing and recording the individual parts and then mixing them together myself here.  With the four vln parts mixed down, I almost sounded reasonable.... LOL...   Heck - it ALSO got me a little bit further towards being able to play-from-sheet (I just said a little bit further.... LOL)

I said it before in another post, or it may have been a PM to someone - "it was seriously worth waiting for"

And @KindaScratchy - thank you - it's just a pity you didn't get the chance to join in - but I know - life takes over sometimes and can't be avoided....  Hope you can make the Xmas one !

It's good to be back, guys.

And seeing my face with all the guys just gives me this ... nice feeling after a serious bout of depression. Maybe now that I've got a new (old) Strad copy, I may resume playing.

Again, thanks to Pierre for making all these possible for us folks.

@Fiddlerman I think Butters needs a Project Badge.  He's back.   :)

@ButteryStuffs

HELLO HELLO HELLO..

I have sincerely missed you.  It was so fun to see you in the video.  I did recall that you had submitted it early... like the first one.

I think of you often.  I am glad you have a violin and hope to hear from you more.

Cheers and Peace buddy!

Toni

PS.  I still watch the video 1-2, or 3 times a week. :)

 Thanks for your words of encouragement,

@coolpinkone  and

@BillyG

I think I'll be okay; found that this violin has the deepest of sounds- it will keep me occupied (again) for a while.

We may hear this one in a project, if Pierre would like to hold another one for New Years or Easter.
