There is so much great Jewish music played on violin, including other Secular Jewish music that is NOT KLEZMER! I don't want to lump them all together.
I want to get more into Sephardic music in a Spanish Violin thread, but there are quite a few other genres of Jewish & Israeli music, too.
I ran across these violin instrumentals (4 Volumes/albums), that ARE also Yiddish Melodies - but I'm not sure which kind they all are, because some (like I'm posting here) don't sound like Klezmer to me.
If anyone knows these belong in a Klezmer thread, I'll gladly move them.
The Soul of The Jewish Violin Playlist - 54 tracks! Most of these are 'easy listening', but there ARE ALSO more Klezmer-like tunes in the playlist.
Here's a few I like & would love to play on my violin, when I get time.
